Custom IMI Polygonal Rifled MINI UZI 3 Lugged Barrels

These IMI MINI UZI barrels were made in 1996. During this time, the Secret Service SMG trials required the competing SMG candidates to have Polygonal rifling and fire from a closed bolt. Mossberg was the importer of the UZI line at that time. The MINI UZI "First Responder" can be seen in the 1998 Mossberg UZI America Law Enforcement Catalog.

You can see from the picture below that this barrel is not to be confused with the super long MINI Carbine barrel which is much longer and has traditional rifling.

These barrels will fit IMI and Vector MINI UZI's, FA and SEMI.

I was disappointed to see that for whatever reason IMI didn't have the secondary barrel band on the "First Responder" barrels which results in the barrel not being fully supported in the rear of the trunion. This is remedied by turning down the breech end of the barrel and installing a bushing to remove the slop to have the same fit as an IMI MINI Compensated SMG barrel has since those barrels have the secondary barrel band. I was able to locate a few of these barrels brand new, never fired and still coated with grease for the past ~11 years. These barrels are pretty hard to find and I currently know of no source that has any at this time.
I like to shoot suppressed most of the time with a 3 lug suppressor so I figured these would make the ultimate 3 lugged barrel. I have just a few left over that I'm selling.
